Some paintings and ponderings from my studio, which once upon a time was located in the former kitchen on the second floor of my former home and now it's in my bedroom!

Ok, so it felt like it went from winter to October this week, like we skipped right over spring and summer...but today, the sun peeked through for a bit and I was reminded that not too long ago, it was REALLY cold, and REALLY snowy and some days I chose to take a train to work (because I really dislike driving in the snow...SNOW!) and here I sit eating sauteed fresh pea shoots from my local farmer's market. So, I have to say, life is good.
Born in Brooklyn, and currently residing in the northernmost tip of Manhattan. Susan received a BFA from School of Visual Arts and a Masters from SUNY New Paltz. Presently, she is teaching Photography and Studio In Art in a NYS high school, painting in her tiny studio and exploring the exciting island that she lives on.
